This is a great little cabin with a beautiful view onto the ocean at Ilha Grande! The room was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and excellent value for money considering the prices elsewhere on the island. Location is a little outside the main town but it’s all so small and walkable it doesn’t make a difference. Note that the cabin is part of Pousada Bela Vista - it’s a bit confusing when you book but you just need to go there and show them your booking confirmation for Chalé Verde and they’ll take to the right place.

The host Mrs Vera is a very lovely and kind lady. She prepared a very nice breakfast and she was very attentive all the time.

Rita, the host and the others were friendly and had great hospitality. Rita had a lot of knowledge about the Island, providing me with good recommendations and helped with my iteniary. The shower temperature gets warm and has good pressure. Filtered water provided so you can refill you waterbottle. The breakfast is very good - fruits, bread, egg, cake - and my dietary (no dairy no meat) was accommodated for. The portion is huge as well so I couldn't finish it all. I felt safe as a female solo traveller and slept really well.

Great location, good facilities. Perfect value for money. It could fit up to 5 people. Plus, our apartment had a view to mountains. Also, they allowed us to do a late checkout for no additional charge.

We liked the room, it had all you needed and was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
