We loved the drive into the mountains and Clouds enabled us to enjoy the magnificent views and bird life. The cedar cabin was bigger than it looked with windows right across the front to make the most of the view and a covered deck to sit out on (mozzie spray needed). It felt extremely homely and Christine, the host, left us a delicious homemade pasta sauce in the fridge which we were able to warm up with the available spaghetti. Thank you, very much appreciated. We sat and watched a lightning storm which continued for quite a few hours. It was very cosy. The beds were comfortable and the shower room/toilet was huge. We also visited the local Sunday Market as we left.

The Polish Place offers award-winning, self-contained chalets, set on the escarpment of Tamborine Mountain with 180 degree views facing towards The Great Dividing Range.

The owners clearly care that the guests' visit goes as well as possible. The accommodation gave the impression that cleanliness is well taken care of. We almost passed the place because of the first picture on the booking site. Fortunately, we also looked at other pictures and reviews.

The room we had was absolutely wonderful. Nice and clean, modern and spacious perfect for a couples night away. Wish we had booked longer as we were nestled in the trees, we didn't see anyone else and it was blissful! The bath and gas fire place made it very romantic. The room was well equipped, great touch with the little extras like the beautiful smelling body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Water bottles and selection of coffee and tea. Rachel was so wonderful to deal with, she made it easy to manage our booking and she helped with our special request Thank you!

Great hosts Carolyn kept in contact with us during horrendous journey from Mackay. Room was light and bright with large picture windows and patio door. Great size room with well equipped kitchen, large dining table and comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were good size and for once plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Nice to have washer and dryer. On site parking is a bonus. Pool are is kept spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi which is at just nice temperature. Personal touches ie hand written notes and some sweets left on arrival and departure. Location is excellent with beach over the road and a 5 mknute stroll along the esplanade brings you into the centre. Wouldn't hesitate recommending these apartments.
