The cabaña is really nice, fully equipped with towels, bed linen, soaps, shampoo and hairdryer. The kitchen has electric stoves, dishes, pan, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. The garden is perfect for chilling. It's very well located for the city centre and the start of the Laguna Torre trail. The staff were more than kind and helpful. Can't ask for more for our stay in the cute El Chalten!

It was one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Beautiful design and decor. It's very cosy and spacious with big windows and amazing views of El Chalten. Very convenient location to begin your hikes and for all restaurants. Comfortable bed and great bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

Our time here was really special. The team at the lodge (Mariana and Adi especially) made us feel right at home. All of the facilities were incredible, the room itself and the hot tub on the hill overlooking Fitz Roy were just incredible. The food the chef cooked was amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our rides out on the horses, we got to see some beautiful views on horseback. We felt like every need was catered for, we were picked up and dropped off to the bus stop. We were also dropped off to the start of the trail to laguna los tres and picked up from town after a long 22km trek! We really enjoyed that WiFi was only in common areas as we could enjoy our books & the view without distraction. The lodge has a special place in our hearts! You will not regret booking here.

A bit tricky to find the place but at the end of the day it is EL Chalten it is not too difficult to find it . We were speechless when we see the view from the kitchen and living room in the morning . WOW ! We wish we could stays longer in EL Chalten of more than 3 nights! I really recommend this place 5 stars!

This is the best apartment we stayed in in Argentina! It’s cozy, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is equipped with basic utensils and the hosts provide oil, salt, sugar, coffee, yerba, all the things you don’t want to need to buy if you’re staying for a few days. The heating worked great and Anita provided recommendations for restaurants and activities to do in bad weather. Highly recommended!

Location of the Hosteria Guanaca Lodge is nice. You can walk to the best restaurants in the town in just few steps. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was decent and the beds were comfortable. For the breakfast, the lodge offered scrambled eggs and hot toast as a hot meal. It provided the energy for our long hike on the next day. We also bought some packed lunch for our hike. It was amazing. The sandwiches, the snack, the water and the apple there were all well designed for hikers, with the least weight but the most energy provided. The owner is also a hiker. The lady knows very well about hiking at El Chalten. She was kind and she offered many advices on our hike the night before (and told us where we could take the most fantastic pictures). She even lent us some poles and led us to the starting point of our hike in person!! She was really kind!!! We must take this opportunity to present our heart-felt gratitude to her as she (and her lodge as well) was very nice to us. By the way, the owner lady is bilingual. Even we were not Spanish speakers, she was able to communicate well with us in English without any difficulties.
