Jassim and his crew know hospitality and will make your private desert stay a wonderful experience. You may believe this to be a once in a lifetime experience, but my heart is set on returning to the desert, to Bidiyah, and to Oman. The camp is the furthest one in the desert so we were very far from the town of Bidiyah and it’s light pollution- far enough away to see the beautiful night sky be-speckled with stars. The tent is well designed and faces east to capture the most beautiful sunrise you’ll ever see over the desert sand dunes. No match for what you’ll see on Dune or Tatooine. There were just a few tents at this camp making for a very private setting, with just a few friendly neighbors. The base of the camp is where we had meals. They prepared great dishes (buffet), and had vegetarian options too. After dinner, we sat outside with the few people at the camp and had some tea and conversation. There’s also an indoor swimming pool and sometimes there’s a fire at night. The camp also boasts eco tourism using solar cells and limits the use of plastics. It was very quiet (except for the winds). There’s a fully functioning open air, private, outdoor bathroom attached to our tent where you can shower under the stars. Keep in mind that you’ll be covered in a thin layer of sand and sometimes it gets very windy so some eye protection would’ve come in handy. Lastly, I highly recommend meeting the crew at the meeting point in Bidiyah and having them drive on the desert sand. Jassim picked us up, had great communication, and simply the most hospitable and nicest person you’ll ever meet. He stopped so we could say hi to the camels, take a few photos, and had a few laughs.

The accommodation was beautiful clean, neat, and equipped with everything you might need, right in the middle of the golden sands. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional, and I especially loved the gathering after dinner with the other guests, sitting under a sky more beautiful than I’ve ever seen, filled with countless stars. We also enjoyed the resort’s trips , the camel riding was such a peaceful and authentic experience so was our visit to a Bedouin house, and the dune bashing was thrilling, with a sunset so stunning it felt straight out of a movie. The owner, Abdullah, is an excellent host always available and making sure everything is perfect. I definitely recommend this camp for its beautiful rooms, warm hospitality, and serene location surrounded by dunes. It’s a true desert gem, we are coming back sure.

We booked the cabin which was great and enjoyed sunrise in bed! Ahmed and the staff are excellent, we felt so well taken care of and were so sad that we only booked for one night! The little Veranda in front of the cabin is great too for chilling and reading a book. Definitely go dune bashing too! Ahmed takes you out during sunset to watch the sun set over the dunes! Couldn’t recommend more. And it’s also a great thrill. 10/10 recommend!

Moon Light Camp坐落于Bidiyah。 部分房间拥有休息区和/或露台。 早餐提供自助、欧陆式或素食三种选择。 这家露营地提供滑雪设备租赁服务和汽车租赁服务。客人可以在附近体验徒步和滑雪。 住宿距离马斯喀特国际机场有206公里，提供付费机场接驳服务。 客观讲，Bidiyah的Camp很多，需要综合评分、评价、接送、晚餐、游玩等多方面因素比较选择，最终我们选了Moon Light Camp，实际证明这样的选择非常棒。Camp老板比较憨厚可爱，在Al Mintarib Castle老板悠悠地开着车来接。在公区小Camp的二楼，可以靠着喝茶、聊天，老板的不知是同事们还是朋友们，可以热情地聊天，有一位贝都因的大哥，可能是大家的活宝，不会英语，大家都友善地拿他开玩笑，所有人都欢乐地笑成一团。五点开始冲沙，一个小插曲我们坐了老板的皮卡，冲Big Dune没成功，老板又安排了他的朋友重新带我们冲，非常贴心。晚上吃饭时，已经饥肠辘辘，食物基本被风卷残云般吃干净了。饭后起篝火，放歌、跳舞，全场最嗨的还得是我们中国人一家，其他外国客人们太含蓄了，最炫民族风、科目三送给各位阿曼大哥，篝火的最后老板还用残火做了烤饼甜点，虽然甜齁且古法捏制，但配合茶也是当天非常棒的收尾。面对星空下的无顶厕所洗澡，别有一番风味。凌晨的营地，一切都已安静下来，待月亮落下，可以看到满天繁星。一切的一切，都非常棒。 PS. Camp住宿是含早的，小朋友不另收费；晚餐是5 OMR/人，小朋友没有另收费；接送是10 OMR/来回；冲沙是25 OMR/车，冲沙+看日落+看骆驼，一个多小时。

wahiba Bedouiens privae Camp坐落于Al Mintirib。内部提供私人停车位。 这家露营地配备露台和烧烤设施。 We had an absolutely wonderful time. Hamed is a kind and gracious host who provided a magical setting and shared his culture with us. Hassan, the camp caretaker is an excellent cook and could not have been kinder.

It’s about a 35-minute drive from the main road, and the journey to the camp is already an incredible experience. We stayed in a tent, which was super comfortable and for me, felt like pure luxury—having light, water, and other amenities in the middle of the desert. The tent is spacious, offering more than enough room for two people. It wasn't to cold in the tent at night (december). The area is beautifully set up with a cozy chill-out tent and a dining space. The staff, a group of young Bangladeshi mens, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious dinner for us with grilled chicken, grilled camel meat, and several side dishes with rice—everything was absolutely flavorful. For breakfast, they cooked fresh Omani bread and a potato curry, which was tasty. In the evening, they organized a small campfire, which added a wonderful touch to the experience. The team does an excellent job and I hope they are well paid for their hard work! Additional activities like camel riding and more are available. This place is truly recommendable, and spending a night under the breathtaking desert stars is unforgettable.

Our tent was the cleanest place we’ve stayed in our entire Oman trip! The staff were really friendly and happy to help with anything. The communal area is super comfortable and the food is delicious - both breakfast and dinner! We stayed for two nights and the staff made sure we had some snacks for the hours in between breakfast and dinner too. Plus there is free tea and coffee, dates and little hazelnut chocolates which were yummy. It’s an authentic Bedouin experience well worth it.
