Therefore you really get the Jordanian culture experience! Host provided a guide to take us around Dana nature reserve. Highly recommend this. No real restaurant facilities in Dana so I would request that the Hobbit Village provide lunch/dinner.

All the meals were delicious and the view of the canyon is priceless. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, with hikers coming in and out. Our room was comfortable and accurate to the pictures. The best is the staff, however: we had a car issue and Abu Ahmad guided us and sent his colleague Ashraf to the garage with us, who translated and helped us get our tire fixed at two different garages. We couldn't be more satisfied with our stay. Thank you Abu Ahmad for your wonderful hospitality!

Just 1 km from the Ottoman village of Dana and the start of the Wadi Dana Trail, the camp overlooks Wadi Dana and the Dana Nature Reserve. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Dana Eco Lodge. From the moment we booked, Ghaleb, the lodge manager, was incredibly responsive and professional. He confirmed our arrival details in advance, arranged a smooth pick-up, and helped us plan our hiking route with a fantastic local guide. The hike was a highlight — we saw unique local plants and herbs, and brewed tea like true Bedouins in a wide-open desert space. It was an authentic, grounding experience. The next morning, we set off on a different trail with the same guide, who was once again perfectly punctual and prepared, offering us fresh tea and warm conversation. Ghaleb truly goes above and beyond. He is attentive to every detail, and whatever he promises, he follows through without delay. Hot water is available for showering. The dinner is hearty and delicious. The camp is run by Ammarin tribe, so we can truly experience a Bedouin camp. The staffs are very helpful and hospitable. They tried their best to help our car escape from the sand. Additionally, the landscape at night is amazing with a starry sky.

Orion's Wild Camp was such a great experience! The views are beautiful, and the whole place has a peaceful, natural vibe. I loved the tent setup and the friendly staff—Mohammad, our hiking guide, was especially great. The meals were a highlight too—authentic Jordanian food cooked over a fire, which made it feel even more special. Parking was easy, and everything was well organized. Perfect spot for anyone who enjoys nature and a bit of adventure.

Nestled under the rocks of Little Petra, the Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp is situated in the desert, a 10 minute drive from the Petra Visitors Centre. It has a restaurant and offers tent accommodations.... The staff is so nice!! I had problems and they helped me and took care of me. The place is very peaceful and not too far from the main attractions (about 10 mins away from Petra). At night, the place becomes all lit up and it’s so beautiful. Some bedouins play music outside. They offer diner for 10 JD and the food is delicious. The rooms are cozy and clean! There are mountains nearby to watch the sunset.
