The hosts have recently taken over the campsite and are very friendly and always willing to help. Communication was mainly in Italian (the hosts are patient and are not bothered by our poor Italian or resorting to Google translate every now and then), but often a young lady that speaks English is present. For nice walks, you can for example drive (15 min) to Albergo Rifugio Stella Alpina (perfect road).

We never thought to come here but had to re-book our stay a week before we left. Luckily we did, otherwise we wouldn’t have met Davide and Elena (the owners). Who are the loveliest and most careful hosts you could wish. There was a lot of space around the tent, in a quiet forest on the mountain. There are a lot of hikers and small groups, but it stays nice and peaceful. There is a nice little cafe and restaurant, with local products and good coffee! Make sure to chat with the owners and get to know their mission and goals. We had a great time♥️

Firstly, it was a wonderful experience. The facility is very clean and tailored towards families in my opinion. My children loved every moment. The pool is clean and also not overcrowded. As expected, items are a bit pricey when shopping directly at the facility. Aldi and other local groceries are not too far away with the car or even bicycles. We bought our groceries from Aldi.
