A very wild house, built with love by the owner with total respect of the nature. The owner is kind, a very good cooker and made our stay as comfortable as possible. He makes you feel at home.

My stay at Kulu safari was amazing! The staff are so attentive, a special thanks to Praba…. He made my 2 nights so amazing. The „tents“ (it stretches the reality to call them tents) are so luxurious… fantastic bathrooms Praba made sure that I got my wish to see a leopard. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. The food was the best that I’d had during my while holiday is Sri Lanka - both local as well as western! I can highly recommend a stay

Tents are spacious and have got fan, sockets, shower and toilet, comfy bed. Staf professional and welcoming. Everything is well organised. Dinner had an amazing atmosphere with candles and campfire - nice meals. There was also a night walk to see some anomal nightlife. Morning safari in the national park and a lovely breakfast. Good experience))

I agree with the previous reviews. The location is absolutely spectacular. Most definitely the most scenic view we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Its also very private and we had the beach and dunes virtually to ourselves and the other couple that were in the Dune camp. The food and the service was great. The tents are a bit dated, but the beds are very comfortable and all have nets. This is not super luxury but the price is also much less than the super luxury campsites. We would highly recommend this place. They also arranged the safari for us. We have heard horror stories re the jeep drivers at Yala but the driver they arranged was very good and mindful of not disturbing the wildlife.

- If you’re heading to Yala National Park, Rivosen Camp Yala Safari might be up your street. - Located close the entrance of Yala National Park, this accommodation is really off the beaten track. - This is the perfect opportunity to go off-grid and you’ll be well looked after by the very kind local staff. - One example of this was when I didn’t have the right plug to charge my phone and they took it home for a few hours and returned it to me, fully charged. - During my stay, one of the guys brought me to Kirinda and the local beaches. - I was the only tourist and it really felt like a unique adventure. - Manjula and his team prepared local breakfast, lunch and dinner and really did all they could to make me feel welcome. This is one place where you certainly won’t go hungry. - The accommodation at first glance is very rustic and definitely not for everyone but I actually slept like a baby. - They also set up a bonfire and you can sit under the stars at night under the clear skies. - I was up at 4:30am for the Safari, all arranged by Manju. They also prepare a packed lunch for the Safari which was very kind of them. When I got back, breakfast was ready. While their English is limited, all the team made a great effort to chat with me, sharing about their family and lives in Sri Lanka. - This is one experience I know I’ll talk about for years to come and that alone gives this place a 10/10.

To list some of the all around perfect stay. - super quite and remote (if you don’t mind the sound of the jungle around you) - absolute adorable staff who try to fulfill any wish you might got - best Safari rides with the best driver (scooby) and incredible educated and nicest Ranger (Dhanula) who make this trip forgetable.

Staff were great. Incredibly accommodating. The location was extremely close to Yala National Park. After waking up for breakfast there were buffalo wondering around the site, which made it special. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were also great, and were made very special as staff created a walkway and a dining area with fire lanterns.
