I had a wonderful experience at Yala Way Nature Villa. It provided us with excellent family-friendly services. Located in a very quiet environment, this is a great place for those who love the environment. Delicious local food was served and we were able to spend a beautiful night with barbecue. The place has been renovated with a new look and is very clean. That night spent under a starry sky made our lives beautiful.

Amazing location, next to the beach and surrounded by nature. The hotel is peaceful, simple and authentic, with hippie vibes. The host, Babou, is the kindest person ever!! He always makes sure you have everything you need. He welcomed us with tea on the beach at sunset, it was magical. They have a restaurant, we had the grilled fish it was incredibly delicious! We were lucky to be the only tourists there because it was low season, and we really felt like we were lost in paradise.

Lovely staff, beautiful property and the rooms are stunning. Very comfortable and homely in the rooms. We appreciated the staffs attentiveness and they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. They also organised a safari for us at Yala and the location of the villa is great for that!

We arrived at the camp in the evening and it looked beautiful with all the lights, the room was really comfy it it has a really nice camp / jungle / safari vibe. We had an amazing 4 course dinner and got to try making hoppers too, Ruwan was a lovely host. We did the safari in the morning with Nikki and went through the less busy entrance to block one really close to the camp. We saw a leopard and sloth bear, elephants, water buffalo’s and loads of birds. Nikki is really informative and was a great guide, he knew so much! We also had a packed breakfast which was delicious! They also let us check out a bit later so we had time to shower when we got back. Definitely the best experience you can have for a safari in Yala!

New, modern and exklusive Hotel. 2 rooms, very close to Main entrance of Yala National Park. It’s surrounding by Nature, so Perfect for everyone who wants to enjoy calm Nature. We could choose our dinner preference and everything was arranged for us. Food and Service is amazing, I can only recommend for everyone. We even went on a Nature trekking with the owner for Sunset. I can also recommend the Safari, both drivers were really good and reserved best starting Spot in front of the Main Gate:)

Our stay at Mallara Rest Safari was truly incredible! If you're a nature lover, this place is an absolute must-visit. Babi and his staff are exceptionally hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation itself is beautifully designed, blending perfectly with its surroundings. Right next to the property, we saw various animals passing by—during the day, water buffaloes and stunning birds, and at night, even elephants! The food was absolutely delicious, adding to the overall experience. Staying in the treehouse was magical—it allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature, listening to the soothing sounds of wildlife at night, which felt almost meditative. Babi also took us to explore different local spots, showing us breathtaking views and beautiful scenery that we wouldn't have found on our own. We also arranged a safari nearby, exploring the nearby Yala Block 5 and 6, where we were lucky enough to see leopards, elephants, and a variety of other animals. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable nature getaway!

Priyantha and his family gave us an experience we will never forget.The family was extremely friendly and hospitable and Priyantha and his son,Hansa,went above and beyond with their care for us. Communication after booking was excellent. As the location is off the main road and up a challenging but fun dirt track we were met at Yoda lake and followed Hansa to the accommodation,which is located 10 yards from the perimeter of Yala National park. As we were driving our rented Tuktuk,Priyantha and Hansa kindly drove us back to the local town and main roads at the end of our stay. We stayed 4 nights in an authentic mud house which is set in a wonderfully designed woodland setting.Rooms are very private,extremely peaceful and away from all the tourists. Priyantha provided plenty of excellent healthy food as and when you wanted it,you will not go hungry here.A fire was set for us to sit round every evening with the host providing authentic live music after dinner.Three of the healthiest and friendliest dogs belong to the family and will gladly lead you on the many walks available from the property. We saw an abundance of wildlife on the local walks,monkeys,deer,eagles,crocodiles to name but a few.Priyantha kindly took us traditional rod fishing,net fishing,to a secret beach where we were the only two people and were lucky enough to see an elephant very close to the beach in addition to a visit to a local monastery and local temple which had a unique twist.A full day safari tour was also organised by Priyantha with his very experienced and friendly driver,at a very reasonable price.We simply cannot recommend Yala wild house and farm high enough if your willing to embrace an experience never to be forgotten. Thank you Priyantha,Hansa,Loki,driver and family,you all went above and beyond to provide us with the most amazing experience.

Everything was perfect. More than we expected. The tents and the dinner served at the camping were amazing. Breakfast very good. Staff suberb. There was nothing you would ask and they wouldnt try doing.

All of the staff were so helpful and polite. The facilities were as described and the location was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality. We highly recommend this accommodation to single, group or family travellers..
