The staff were lovely and very accommodating, the pool was wonderful to cool off after a big day in the sun. things are always being cleaned and we felt very welcomed there! will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone heading to dahab! there’s also an opportunity to volunteer to stay for free, which is a very cool experience and great for budget travellers!

The staff is very friendly, work on keeping the space clean and is always here to chat or to take care of any demands. The hut is super cozy, well decorated and has air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The shared area is huge, very comfortable, with nice background music and cute pets around. I really love chilling there. It's close to the beach and any facilities. I recommande this place 😊

Yes, 20 meters. We could step out of our room and be on the shore within seconds, soaking up the stunning Red Sea views. Plus, being right in the center of Dahab means you’re surrounded by vibrant cafes, shops, and local life, making it the perfect base to explore the town. The rooms themselves are an incredible bargain. For less than the price of a hostel bunk, you get your own private room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and cozy—what more could you ask for? There’s also a lovely communal area where we loved hanging out, meeting fellow travelers, or just chilling with a book. The hammock was a personal favorite, and the friendly dogs on-site added a charming touch to the laid-back vibe. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The traditional Egyptian breakfast was a delightful start to the day—full of local flavors that we truly enjoyed. That said, it might not be for everyone if you’re used to something more continental, but for us, it was part of the authentic experience. Alaska Camp Hotel strikes the perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and charm. If you're visiting Dahab and want to be close to the sea, immersed in the town’s vibrant energy, and surrounded by friendly vibes without breaking the bank, this is the place to be. Super comfortable bed, best price for a room with double bed and private bathroom! Not luxury but perfect for one night stay. Very safe and quiet.
