The lodge is small (max 10 people), the food is great, the staff is lovely, the surroundings are very peaceful and quiet and the safari’s were unforgettable. We spotted lions, a leopard, zebras, giraffes, elephants and much more. We were extremely surprised but the quality of the food and drinks and the lovely ambiance and attentiveness of the staff at the camp. 10/10 experience all-round.

Jenni and Kristian are great hosts. We enjoyed the time over new year at this wonderful location. The tents are spacious and very clean. There is a large pool with sunbeds available and also a nice place to sit around the fire. The very good Breakfast and delicious Dinner is served together with the owners which is perfect for interesting conversations and sharing experiences. The Game Drives with Kristian were informative and varied with nice animal sightings. Simply a beautiful bush camp - highly recommended.

Chisomo Safari Camp is alive with the old-world romance of safari - canvas and thatch opening to shaded gathering spaces, lantern light, the hum of conversation, and the bush just beyond. From our arrival to departure we received the best hospitality. The staff are very friendly and madr sure their guest has everything they need. The room is very spacious. We enjoyed the food, the staff and the whole setting.

Southern Sands Ecolodge offers tented accommodation within the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, located on the banks of the mighty Olifants River. Stunning Location next to the river, The running water makes for such a peacefull atmosfere. The tented room was comfortable and the Beds comfortable. It is Camping without the hassle. Cant wait to go back.

Lovely location with lots of plant species, birds, monkeys and mammals. Slept like a baby in the tent. Chris is a qualified field guide and took me out around the grounds and as my interest is in reducing snaring of animals he took me de-snaring on some other properties with permission. Would definitely stay again.
