The tents were very comfortable, tea, coffee and dates were available all the time, the breakfast was delicious. If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The luxury tent features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Perfect location in the golden sands of the desert. Exciting 4x4 experience on the way to (luckily assisted by the owners) 2 brothers who run this camp are very welcoming and friendly. Delicious food even with vegetarian options and first of all - one of the best beds we were sleeping on! Huge, hight quality mattresses with luxurious linen.

Muscat International Airport is 199 km from the property. I have been here last year this is my second time in this camp. I really liked the new location they added more tents and place is amazing. They improved the toilets they are more luxurious now!! The staff are lovely the buffet has lots of variety and all tasty. I highly recommend it for your vacation.

Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. If I was going to move anywhere I think I would move into Rashid’s Desert Camp permanently 😂 Loved it! The hospitality, the kindness, thoughtfulness, conversations. The tent was fabulous! Towels are provided, the beds are super comfortable, and there are chairs and table if you wish to sit on your very own patio area. The location is further into the desert away from the busyness of the other camps that are closer to the desert entrance. And it is in the dunes too. The food was superb and plentiful! Being a small camp it was perfect for having the company and conversations of other people there, or finding a quiet place to simply ‘be’. Walk to the top of the nearby dunes to view the stunning sunrise and sunsets. Other activities are available such as Dune Bashing, camel rides, quad bikes, and other options by arrangement. Just perfect, and my deepest regards and gratitude to Rashid and all the others for such a memorable visit.

We had beautiful sunset and sunrise. We booked the dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Badr was great, he picked us up from the carpark and dropped us off to our car the next day. On the way he showed us the camels and a Bedouin camp nearby. Him and the other staff also spend time with everyone around the bonfire telling us stories about life in the desert and singing songs. The tents and bathrooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it feels like an authentic experience. We would visit again and would like to express our gratitude to Badr for making this a great experience for us.
