the owner a very freindly and great guy made me and my partner fell at home and welcomed us with a good chat a smile fresh drinking water and gave us a run down on the local erea history places to eat and the feary from the bay to lyttelton thanks for the stay

It's an older house, the kitchen had the basics and the bedrooms can get a bit cold, but the sunsets and stargazing from the balcony are hard to beat. The sun warms the common area upstairs during the day through those big glass windows while the fireplace gives more than adequate heat at night. Really hoping that the owners could spruce it up just a little bit more, we're already thinking when we could go revisit Tekapo

We loved everything about this quaint little studio, overlooking the whole bay! The most beautiful space to watch the sunrises and sunsets (especially from the bath). The retro furnishings inside were another cute touch! It was the most perfect place ❤️

The location up on the hill was super. Great to have so much space to set up and relax. Did walks down to each bay. Loved having the coffee machine. Fed the chooks. Very quiet and beautiful mountain sunset view.

The room is fabulous. We loved the fire and the bed was huge and so comfortable. We loved the spa bath and having a spa pool on our veranda was amazing. The massages were out of this world. The food in the restaurant was great and the staff are so warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The seclusion of the pod and so so dreamy. The view and sunset was stunning. The facilities are top notch. Gorgeous hot shower and the bed so comfortable. Curtain options if you wish but we stargazed all night. BBQ for full on cooking but highly recommend the Long Lunch at the vineyard before you head up to the pod.

Beautiful space in a beautiful location. The garden was well looked after and we spent lots of time in the hammock over looking the sea. Sunset in the hot tub was the highlight of our 2 night stay. Cookies on arrival and a comfy bed to sleep in. We saw dolphins swimming in the sea from our window. The host was a lovely helpful man too. Couldn’t recommend this stay more.
