The warmest welcome by hussein and his crew of our whole trip to Morocco. Everything was perfect, the contact before our stay, the pickup at the main road, the excellent dinner and breakfast and the very friendly guys at the site. Even if the camp is not at the biggest dunes, it is still a very good opening to explore the desert of Morocco. We wish everybody putting efforts in this camp all the best and hope to find this place next year in the same condition. Even our 3 month baby was taken care of in a perfect way. Thank you for this experience!

As agreed, Ali waited for us in the center of M'hamida, where we parked the vehicle in a secured parking lot for 20 MAD per night.
The jeep ride through the desert takes 1.5 hours (€90 for the jeep). After an interesting drive, we arrive at a beautiful small family camp run by Mohamed together with Ali. There are 4 tents and 3 bivouacs in the camp, which makes for a family-friendly atmosphere. Tea and snacks await you. Then we walk along the wonderful surrounding dunes.
This is followed by an excursion with camels into the sunset organized by Mohamed (€15 pp/h).
After the trip was a fantastic dinner from chef Ali, who prepared the best soup of our entire trip, and the tajine was also superb.
Followed by stargazing and hanging out by the camp fire.
In the morning, a pleasant simple breakfast and departure from the camp. .
Thanks to Mohamed, Ali and the team for a wonderful day and night in a real desert.
We recommend it to everyone who wants an authentic experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced.
It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside.
You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light".
Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues.
So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.
Boasting accommodation with a balcony, Mhamid Nomad Camp is situated in Mhamid. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

The camp is located perfectly fine in some dunes with stunning views. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night so we had the campsite to ourselves. The dinner was absolutely fine and we were offered to have a campfire if we'd wanted. What we enjoyed most was the quietness and the stars during the night. No dune-bashers or cars (thank god!). The host is as friendly as you can imagine and organized a camel ride back to the parking area for the following day with a local guy which we also enjoyed a lot. Also communication was easy and pick could be organized smoothly. Definitely 10/10.

The people at the property are very nice and funny. You can expect a cozy campfire at night where people make music together. Moreover, the place is beautiful and the tents are very comfortable.
The staff were great - very helpful and attentative.
We enjoyed the fact the camp is so remote, and the 4x4 drive with Sade was great fun.
Tents very comfy, great food, hot showers.
Thank you to everyone!

Incredible location ، right inside the desert dunes. We have unforgettable memories climbing the dunes for sunrise and watching the sun coloring the sand.
Tents are large enough with running water , toilets.

It was an amazing experience, we loved the camp and the surrounding desert. The food prepared by hosts was always excellent, we ate amazing Tajine, couscous and moroccan salad! The tents were well prepared also for a bit colder nights, we were always cozy and warm. Larbi, his brother and all the other people were extremely friendly and welcoming!

Sleeping in the tent was an utterly unique experience. The tents were not only beautifully decorated but also incredibly comfortable. The meals served were a delight to the taste buds. And what can I say about the enchanting music around the fire beneath the starry desert night? It's nothing short of magical, a moment of perfect harmony with the desert. This experience is truly worth every moment, and I eagerly look forward to reliving it again.

Wonderful place, a few tents in the dunes, well equipped with toilets, a living area under a pavilion covered with carpets, dining tent and separate showers and toilets. Spectacular sunset. Staff top!!! Morad and Mostafa' who welcomed us are exceptionally hospitable and caring, they gave us a delicious candlelit dinner and they are two very good musicians, as we enjoyed with Berber songs after dinner. And the wonderful little dog Titì accompanied us along the dunes! A wonderful, unforgettable stay.
