I can’t express enough how amazing our stay at the Orion dome was. It was pure luxury. The hotel camp ground and dome was very clean and comfortable beds. The best part about our stay was the staff and service. We arrived and immediately felt at peace with our welcome. The staff was extraordinary and took good care of us from booking our driver to and from Marrakech, booked our incredible private camel ride and dinner with a show. The dinner and breakfast food was delicious. We easily wish we stayed more than one night. It was truly the highlight of our trip. I would and can’t wait to come back to stay here again. Very cosy and spacious tent. Beautiful garden and a fantastic pool. Only a couple of minutes with a bike from the busy city centre. This place is a great escape from the crowds. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Local breakfast was delicious. Definitely would recommend this place.

The staff is top notch and they were very happy to make our experience comfortable whether delivering us coffee to our tent in the morning, wine to our tent in the evening, arranging a sudden lunch for us or scheduling a sunset camel ride. The setting is spectacular and serene. We read and napped and stared at the beautiful landscape. The food was excellent and more than generous. They even serenaded me with cake by the bonfire in the evening for my birthday.

The staff are all very friendly and can’t do enough to help you. The food was lovely- I ate the 3 course dinner every night I was there (4in total) and really enjoyed all food that I had.

We even took a camel ride. It was the perfect setting to take in a sunset and a sunrise. Being in the middle of the desert, there were no city lights to impede on the start filed sky as well. While a little on the pricier side, the service, facilities and food were all second to none and worth every penny. No complaints. Would DEFINITELY recommend. At Camp Cameleon, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves African cuisine. Camp Chameleon is a wonderful place to find peace and tranquility in the desert. We stayed here only one night but enjoyed every moment. When we arrived we met the host Zack who was extremely kind and friendly throughout the entire stay. He offered us tea and showed us our tent which was spacious and comfortable. Dinner was absolutely fantastic with truly traditional Moroccan food made in the traditional way. At dinner we were accompanied by the camp's sweet dogs and cat which made everything even more lively. The night was cold (it's still January after all) but there's gas heating in the tent so we enjoyed a good night sleep. Waking up in the desert is an incredible thing and the silence was fantastic. We enjoyed a rich breakfast (a perfect shakshuka with bread and tea) and then took a 1 hour camel ride to explore the area. We highly recommend Camp Chameleon for anyone who wants an authentic and unique experience. We send our warm regards to Zack and the team and hope to meet them again in the future.
