Located in the mountain it gave us the opportunity to relax completely. Despite the staff not being able to speak much English, we were taken care of in the best way possible.

The place is just outside the main busy onsen area. It is surrounded by nice forest , rise fields and wild nature. It has 5 spa, also outdoor with beautiful, open till night. With the dark you can see nice sunset and later stars. Food is amazing, made with their products and local products. Stuff os super nice : they picked me up, and show me places with beautiful landscape panorama!

The location of the hotel made it so accessible to get to from Kumamoto Station. The staff serving me were very proactive with ensuring that I was comfortable and could easily settle in. The room was super comfortable and worth the price that I paid. It was a shame that I could not get breakfast because they were fully booked. The view from the room was amazing! I could watch the sunset and it was great to be woken up by the natural light in the morning!

Wonderful service and magical to see the winter lights light up on the river after sunset- even the rainy weather didn't ruin the trip- convenient location, we loved walking around, they took care of the car and even helped us arrange the transfer to our next onsen. Spoke Japanese to us slowly so we could understand and were overall incredibly kind and friendly, which made our stay memorable!
