WOW! What an amazing place! The Warren exceeded our expectations. I booked a little surprise trip for my sister's 40th and it was the most magical weekend. On arrival check in was easy self service and the campsite was just perfect. We had everything we needed for a weekend stay in the great and beautiful outdoors with a few creature comforts. The area was so peaceful, the site was spotless and the bed was super comfy. We had a wood burning hot tub which warmed up very quickly and spent long evenings in front of the fire or under the stars. In the day time, the Red Kites put on a magnificent show every morning, flying over the fields. The hosts leave you to it but are there if you need anything (such as ice packs for the cool box) and there is a little kitchenette if you're not up for cooking on the fire pit. Compost loo was extremely clean and comfortable and there's even a shower should you need one! The local farm shop in Evenly does the best steaks for the BBQ and the Red Lion pub there is very good and about a 2 hour leisurely walk (via the bluebell woods). We can't wait to go back. What a gem.
