My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 1.1 km from Gregory Lake and 7.4 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. We were picked up by Arthur (despite a delayed train) and had a short journey back to the homestay. It's in a great location, a short walk into Nuwara Eliya and easy access to Lake Gregory. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. Arthur was great at helping arrange some laundry for us and giving us tips on the area. We only spent one day there but got a full tour of three different tea plantations and some waterfalls. The breakfasts were traditional Sri Lankan food and both delicious )dahl one day and milk rice the next). It was a great last stop before our holiday came to an end in Sri Lanka!

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. Fantastic staff and food. We were really well looked after. We were upgraded for our room. It was spacious with a working hot shower and a bath, a first for us in Sri Lanka. We arrived just as it started to rain heavily so didn't explore the area. It was about a mile from the train station but on the edge of Hatton with fantastic views over the hills and tea plantations. No need to use A/C.

Beautiful former plantation house, well kept.Quiet location. Best accommodation we had on the Pekoe Trail. Great location for stages 7 and 8. Our hosts, Ruban and Murali, were fantastic - attentive, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the Pekoe Trail and gave us good advice for our walk.

The beds were impossibly soft, wrapped in fresh linen. Every meal was a delight. The in-house chef, prepared everything from fragrant biryanis and grilled vegetables and local fish seasoned to perfection. the staff specially Mr. Manu made the stay unforgettable their kindness felt genuine, their hospitality effortless.

We had a truly wonderful stay. From Pluto's warm welcome to the staff's meticulous attention to detail, the beautifully landscaped garden and the stunning house, we felt pampered, comfortable, and exceptionally well cared for. the food was also superb, expertly tailored to our preferences and spice levels. Ideal for a group of about 10/12. Brockenhurst is located centrally in a quiet corner and all attractions are within minutes reach.
