The location and the landscaping work done by Son and his family to make this place a resort in a natural setting is amazing. From a stream a pond has been created, so that the guests can sit at the lounge and watch the fish, or a water monitor silently gliding in the water, egrets and pond herons flying through the trees, or a sunbird enjoying the nectar of a banana flower. A member of the family keeps a collection of caged bulbuls. They are twittering and chattering all the time, making the guest feel he is in the jungle. A rural touch is the handsome bull kept in the yard by the pond. The creek provides for a habitat to a great variety of colorful butterflies. All the area in and around the resort offer opportunities for birdwatchers. The slope where the bungalows are is next to a rubber plantation and faces a limestone cliff covered with forest. The bungalow are well separated one from the other and the garden is made of a varieties of trees, almost like a botanical garden. At the top of the slope there is a small pool where one can refresh in the green, watching the forest covered hills. The night is full of sounds of the forest. What makes this place unique is its secluded position, the careful landscaping and the hospitality of Sun, Chop and their family. Special people. The food is good and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed. I spent here two most enjoyable days, just walking around the resort and chilling at the lounge. This is a place where the concepts of hours and days evaporate and fade away.

Tee and Mark's bungalow was one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We spent 10 nights here, arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Every night in the bungalow, we fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up in the morning to the sound of howler monkeys. Mark surprised us every morning with a generous Thai breakfast, so we didn't need to buy breakfast separately. We also tried Tee's restaurant several times: they cook heavenly food. The bungalow was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily. We also got a few bottles of water every day, which were stored in the refrigerator. There was a kettle and coffee powder, cups, and spoons in the room. Our bungalow didn't have air conditioning, but it cooled down so much in the evening that we didn't even need a fan. There were mosquito nets above our beds. We were able to rent motorbikes and were given lots of suggestions for things to do. Mark put together a list of his favorite places nearby. There is also a laundry not far from the bungallow, where you can drop off your clothes between 6 and 9 in the morning and they will be washed and ironed by the next day. Dear Tee and Mark, we are very happy to have met you, thank you for taking care of us and for your kind questions and advice. We will definitely be back.

For the price we paid the accommodation could have hardly been any better. Beautiful bamboo hut. Simple but with everything we needed. The owner was extremely kind. We came by Scooter so the location (a bit way from the tourist beaches) was not problem for us. If anything it was a plus. :-) Was easy to reach Ao Nang in about 10 minutes by Scooter and also some other beautiful beaches without many tourists. Good communication.

Loved the large villa with kitchen facilities (a real treat to have a coffee maker!) our villa felt very well cared for and had one of the most comfortable beds we had during our trip. The grounds were extremely clean and well looked after and had the choice of 3 swimming pools to use which were very clean with plenty of sunbeds. It was one of the best places we stayed in during our month in Thailand. You felt the staff really went out of their way to help you and make sure you had the best possible experience, we were travelling with our 7 month baby and they provided cot without me even asking and also helped us arrange a taxi to Koh Lak at short notice. The staff spoke great English and were amazing with our baby ☺️ Would definitely go back if we are in Ao Nang again!

Absolutely loved staying here. The bungalows are so cute and comfortable, beautiful at night, close to the water, close to restaurants and shops, affordable, breakfast included - and was so yum! The staff are so friendly and helpful.
