I don' t have the words to describe how beautiful is this property, how nice and welcoming are all the people that work there and how pleasant and memorable was out stay there. I will try to explain why you should definitely stay there: 1. The staff, especially Sri - these are incredible people, who were not just doing their job, but who did the impossible to make our stay more comfortable and pleasant. They were always smiling, helped us with transport and tours and made us feel like a celebrity. 2. The food - the most delicious meals for our two weeks stay in Sri Lanka. The chef should definitely get a Michelin star. 3. The garden - lovely, well maintained garden, where we had breakfast and dinner. 4. The house - beautiful, old colonial building, which is very well preserved without any big renovation. It is a place for connoisseur - you can feel the spirit of the old times. 5. The surroundings - the building is in the middle of the tea fields. The views are breathtaking. 6. The tea tour - it was really good. Totally recommend it. With few words - it is a luxurious place, where the luxury is not in possessions, but in the attention, the attitude and the unforgettable memories.

We had a very comfortable stay at Tea Queens Bungalow in Norwood, Hatton. The location was beautiful (in the midst of tea gardens and green hills). The bungalow and the overall premises have a certain 'old world charm' and 'heritage property' vibe. The staff was outstanding - a big thank you to Sri, Murali and Uncle (the cook). The food was excellent. The weather was pleasant - it would get quite cold in the evenings. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would have loved to spend more time there.

I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.

The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

Mrs. Dassanayake is a wonderfully gracious host who ensured we had an amazing stay. We loved that it was her family home that she had opened up for visitors and it brought back fond memories of visiting relatives in the hill country as kids. It truly felt like being welcomed into your favourite aunt’s home for the holidays. Our room was very spacious, with a quaint little balcony overlooking the pool and offering views of the Seven Sisters and Adam’s Peak mountain range in the distance. The pool was an added bonus — exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. Overall, it was a delightful and restorative experience. We look forward to our next visit to Kithulvilla.

Not too far from town, bus and railway stop. Very friendly welcome. The rooms are spacious and bright. Everything is very clean. Beautiful and long balcony with an amazing view. The host is very helpful but unobtrusive. We felt very comfortable.. We requested breakfast and it was always very delicious
