Fantastic staff and food. We were really well looked after. We were upgraded for our room. It was spacious with a working hot shower and a bath, a first for us in Sri Lanka. We arrived just as it started to rain heavily so didn't explore the area. It was about a mile from the train station but on the edge of Hatton with fantastic views over the hills and tea plantations. No need to use A/C.

Amazing staff and location and very interesting and unusual (in a good way) rooms. The staff helped organise transport to Adams peak at short notice and cooked good Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast.

Fabulous old tea plantation bungalow with exceptional staff who look after your every needs. Can highly recommend. It’s perfectly located for sections 7&8 of the Pekoe Trail and the manager is so helpful in arranging tuk-tuks to the start of a section or to pick up if you only wish to do a part of a section. We also did the e-bike tour which is also a great way to see the plantations and villages. Last but not least was the quality of the food. We had veg curry and quite superb; breakfast was also excellent

I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.

We were picked up by Arthur (despite a delayed train) and had a short journey back to the homestay. It's in a great location, a short walk into Nuwara Eliya and easy access to Lake Gregory. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. Arthur was great at helping arrange some laundry for us and giving us tips on the area. We only spent one day there but got a full tour of three different tea plantations and some waterfalls. The breakfasts were traditional Sri Lankan food and both delicious )dahl one day and milk rice the next). It was a great last stop before our holiday came to an end in Sri Lanka!
