The building, furnishing and overall experience brings you back to the early 1900s, and yet the hotel provides great comfort for modern travelers. It's really like an oasis as you travel through Zimbabwe. While located in the city center, it's very safe, and quiet enough at night for you have a good rest. Strongly recommended!

Dave was a fantastic host and went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely experience in Bulawayo - and he succeeded. Other people have commented on the location being somewhat isolated, but in my view it was great being in a quaint neighborhood, and it really didn't take that long to grab a cab to the city center.

From check in to check out the service was amazing. Only a few bit that could be better (listed below). Abigirl checked us in she was so attentive and very welcoming. Jeff who did night shifts showed me around all the amenities. Inno the chef always made outstanding meals and took dietary requirements seriously . Food was amazing and very tasty (breakfast) . Given was an amazing assistant in serving breakfast . Always on his feet running in order to provide a quick service . Nonhlanhla also very polite . Even offered to take pictures for me and mum in the garden.
