He and his family were so hospitable , it was the highlight of my stay on Tanna to stay with them , they have a beautiful beach just 10min walk which the village children love to play in , the water is crystal clear . I love the hut it’s a tradition style and the food was beautiful , organic and fresh which his wife makes over traditional wood fire . I highly recommend staying with Charlie and using his tours . Not to forget Tom his driver who knows his stuff when it comes to four wheel driving through the volcanic ash plains and rivers to get to the top of the volcano . ( Charlie is a math teacher at the village school , supplies are limited on the island so recommend brining some stationary , pens , crayons , books ect )
