Our stay here was an absolute highlight of our trip! The room was cozy and comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. Sondra was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and offering great local tips (including how to get a deal on pizza!) Breakfast was phenomenal—honestly on par with a high-end brunch at a nice restaurant, and such a great deal. We loved sitting down with other travelers, swapping stories about our trips and getting inspired for our next stops. The bathrooms were VERY well stocked with top-quality toiletries—even things I didn’t realize I might need. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel extra special. And we have to mention the backyard chickens! Watching them from our window was such a joy, and knowing the eggs on our breakfast plates came from those very chickens made everything feel so fresh and personal. From the fresh eggs to all the little thoughtful details, SunStar captured the spirit of what makes staying at a bed and breakfast so special. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and can’t wait to come back!

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the bed and breakfast's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The most comfortable B&B and fantastic hosts (Yana and Mike) we have met during our 2 months road trip in North America. Every detail from checkin, the lounge, to the room were perfect to make us feel at home. Aside from an excellent host, Yana is an excellent chef and even made every effort to accommodate to our special diet requests. It was not standard breakfast, we stayed 2 nights and each breakfast was 3 course with a theme and to our dietary needs. At the lounge, not only coffee and tea the whole day but also freshly baked pastries whereby you can bring out for the day or have tea or supper after a long day outing. At the lounge and at breakfast was also great times to share travels information with fellow travelers. Really a perfect B&B like home.
