Great cafes, fresh market, night market all within walking distance. Our kids especially enjoyed the extensive collection of board games at the homestay, generously shared with guests. If you are having second thoughts about visiting Phetchaburi, it is worth it just to have the experience of staying at A+ Hometel!

It is next door to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, which definitely merits a visit (you get a discount if you stay here)! Sitting by your own pool, looking at the fireflies and elephants (yes, they do also really pass by your tent) is highly relaxing.

Set within 2.8 km of Kaeng Krachan dam lake and 21 km of Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi, La Atta offers accommodation with seating area. I was solo travelling and wanted to visit the Kaeng Krachan national park.I had a really comfortable stay here! The place was very clean, including the bathrooms, and there was hot water for showers. My room had a mini fridge and the Wi-Fi worked great. The host, อุ้ม (Aoum), didn’t speak much English but was extremely kind, patient, and understanding. We communicated easily using Google Translate. I could rent a bike directly from the hotel at a very reasonable price. Aoum also helped me arrange a 4WD car and driver to visit Kaeng Krachan National Park, and later even organized a minivan pickup to the Phetchaburi bus stand so I could travel back to Bangkok. Breakfast was included and nice as well. The staff usually leave around 6:30 pm, but there’s a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute bike ride away where I could grab dinner. Overall, a clean, convenient, and well-managed place with a very helpful host. I would highly recommend staying here.
