The lodge is still close to restaurants, bars, and shops. You can tell that the owner paid attention to every little detail, providing books, a yoga mat, music box, plates and cutlery, etc. Another big plus is that they organize your pick-up and drop-off at the pier, which makes traveling here super easy. We had an amazing time here, extended our stay for two more days and still were not ready to leave this place after a week. We really hope to come back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Side in Koh Tao! The staff were absolutely amazing – so kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were so clean, probably the cleanest we’ve seen during our travels. Everything felt new and fresh, and it was simply a pleasure to come back to the room each day. The pool was fun and relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. Housekeeping was done daily, including fresh towels and complimentary bottled water. The location is great, just a short walk from the center of Sairee Beach, starting from the 7-Eleven. There’s also an excellent restaurant nearby called Kanya Kitchen and a large supermarket close by. No doubt we would stay here again – we truly enjoyed every moment of our time at Sunny Side!

We checked out at 11am and left bags , were allowed to use the showers etc until we left at 8pm. The people are lovely and we have made so many travelling friends.

The hostel is perfect for someone who does not drive a scooter and does not have an issue with walking to see the beaches around. I love that there ar eonly 4 curtained beds in the room and the place smells ok and clean. Plus a breakfast! Staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve tried the other popular hostel close to it it but I prefer this place as a middle-aged woman and I do not really need a pool.

That's what a hostel should ideally would be! Super clean, organized and spacious. There are only two rooms (dorms) but they feel quite private, with all the curtains, lights and shelves for you. The mattress are massive, bigger than mine at home! The whole staff is amazing and smiley 😁 I would like to give a special mention to Phyu, she made my stay perfect and everyone loves her. Also, they offer a free shuttle for different parts of the island everyday. Extremely easy to make friends. Location is perfect for me, it's far enough to be quiet and close enough to the town, restaurant and parties, if you like. A literal 10/10 hostel, booked for 2 nights and stayed for a whole week.
