Everything is brand new and pristine clean - like 15/10, and while showers in Philippines look very funny sometimes, this hotel did it just right! The rooms are so comfortable and good looking, and suitable for highly sensitive people too! If you really want a comfy and visually pleasing experience with plenty of room and the best sleep, I recommend the studio room upstairs - if you don’t care about visuals and just want the best sleep, the more basic rooms are fine as well! I will never forget how warm, helpful and lovely the staff were… I felt like home… And the location is the best: decent private beach just under the hotel, and a beautiful snorkelling sanctuary with turtles right next to the hotel… There is plenty of very good restaurants in a walking distance from this hotel, and it’s very easy to get a tuktuk here if you just get on the street and wave at a driver. It’s very easy to get to places from here even if you don’t have a driver’s licence. I will never ever forget this, and would definetly love to return - and I really know of good hotels let me tell you… I could keep on writing…

Every single thing about our stay here was exquisite. The reception/cafe/resturant building was such an amazing place to hangout. The view is so serene and I could stay there all day HAPPILY. Not to mention the paninis are 10/10, the COFFEE was incredible (I had the oat milk vanilla latte) and the shakes were unreal. I actually have no words for the accomodation. It felt like a beautiful blend of hobbit, star wars, and jungle book. The domes were so unique, clean and comfortable. I simply cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

It was the best part of our 1 month southeast trip. Marco shared his stories and friendliness , Kimi on the other hand made us swim with beautiful turtles, clown fishes and so on. The location is literally next to the beach, night time garden is amazing to have a bottle of beer. You should rent a motorcycle for the island, it’s a must. You can rent it from Marco and Kimi. Also Marco’s nephew does pick up and drop off. He was kind enough to drop us off to the pier 5 o’clock in the morning. All over we can say that we left our heart in Siquijor ♥️

Great communication When I arrived at Siquijor, there was no electricity for couple of hours. The owner messaged me straight away to let me know and would respond to anything within minutes. My room was cleaned every single day (I haven’t seen ut anywhere else in 4 weeks) and was equipped with everything you needed which made everything very convenient. The owners have scooters available for rent and they recommended all lovely spots to see on the island. I was picked up at the port for free and made feel like at home when i arrived as the couple came to see me at me ‚bungalow’. The lady also helped me to carry my backpack to the Main Street and waited with me for my transport after checking in.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 200 metres from Tubod Beach. The biggest strengths of MIKI’S guesthouse are Mechie herself and the location. Mechie is such a fun and easygoing host! She made sure I was comfortable, from making the guesthouse super neat to introducing me to the area and people of Tubod. - Guesthouse extremely clean with clean bedding and neat floor & bathroom. No insect inside despite the fact that the guesthouse is in the middle of trees. Mechie is attentive to keep the mosquitoes away and there is a net around the bed. - Large bed and accessible bathroom. Fresh water available in the room and little kitchenette. Balcony on the private garden, very nice to take breakfast. - The Guesthouse has perfect location 1 min away from Tubod Marine sanctuary and beautiful beaches. Coco Dive is right there for diving excursions. Many restaurants nearby, shops and small eateries as well. Tagbaylon Hostel in front allows to meet plenty of people. Location is perfect because it’s not right in the center of San Juan but it’s less than 5min away by motorbike and ~17min walk. - I personally didn’t rent a motorbike so I mostly walked and it’s feasible. For longer distances, you can hail taxi-motorbikes on the way, it’s pretty cheap or ask Mechie to take you around. Tubod beach is a gem that should be visited by sunset. Music, drinks, nice people and the sea, it has a really nice vibe. - Mechie is very kind, she gave me plenty of advice and offered to show me around. She’s everything you would expect from a guesthouse owner and so much better than a hotel. She introduced me to tubod local life and looked out for me.
