The house had a lovely courtyard with a pool to cool off in. You can also use the kitchen which has a good range of modern appliances. The artwork around the house was varied and interesting. It is also only a five minute walk from the airport which was handy for our flight to Lima. Although it would seem inconvenient for the city, we felt that it was better to pay a few Soles for the mototaxi to get into town and also have the entertainment of the ride through the traffic. It was worth the 20 minute ride to get to this haven of tranquility.

Casa de Perú Iquitos- Hotel & Restaurant in Iquitos features 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. They found a cake for my birthday and cooked cayman meat we found in the market. Made great Pisco Sours. Cleaned our clothes (which we desperately needed). Give them a try!
