There was a heater available which was good for the cold nights in Puno and hot water in the shower. Giovanni was friendly and helpful and made sure I got what I needed, like keeping my bag there after checking out. Breakfast was simple of bread, butter and jam with coffee/tea. Location is also good, located close to the main square.

Wow! I'm so grateful to have spent time in this beautiful place with an amazing family. If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.
