The view was so stunning we didn’t bother with any other waterfront dining - take-out and beers on our patio with the jacuzzi was the way to go. David is an extremely helpful and kind host. He helped us get to know the area and has everything you could need (paddle-board, snorkelling masks, tupperware, bug repellents etc). We also took advantage of the on-site dock for our tour pickups which was so convenient!

Well equipped both in the room and with communal facilities. Best of all though are the hosts, Sally and Mike who are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The location suited us perfectly, near enough the main town for access to shops and restaurants but far enough to be completely quiet. Walking into town is possible, but probably not something to do several times a day. No problem however as taxis are cheap and plentiful. Also the bus out to starfish beach passes the end of the road. Only regret is we couldn't stay longer.

Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. This locale is not for everyone. You are in the jungle and off the grid 100%. The road to enter is a 20 min dirt road. That said we had a spectacular time. The location is so beautiful!! The staff are genuine, friendly and so helpful. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful a great view of the Oceqm and the Jungel around us. The staff were very helpful to arrange excursions. The pool delightful, the lookout a great vantage point. One reminder, maybe pack a light blanket. It can get cool at night and you have a one sheet and a single light throw in the room. We made due with our towels for extra layers. So happy we ventured to this true island paradise.
