We loved spending our time on the terrace observing all the lovely creatures passing by. We actually saw more animals there, than when we were hiking in the rainforest. There are some resident agoutis (Ñeque) in the garden, who pass by quite close if you are very calm. The host is super nice. The water in the shower is hot. The kitchen is modern and equipped nicely. The location is perfect to walk to Gamboa Rainforest Resort for the sloth sanctuary (and the other activities, but the visit at the sloths, butterflies and frogs was the best activity).

Vista Caribe seems to be a nice option located halfway between Potobelo and Isla Grande. An amazing spot in the Jungle with Monkeys and live animals all around, and a great view of the Caribbean sea and Isla Mame. Owners Frank and Fabian are friendly. Great Breakfast, Great pool, very comfortable room, and just a minute drive to get the water taxi to the beautiful beach of Isla Mame. Highly recommended.
