We arrived before the official check-in time, and he kindly let us park our car and leave some of our belongings in the room while he was still finishing the cleaning, which allowed us to take the train into Wellington City Centre without any hassle. We only stayed for one night, but it was truly the perfect stopover!

The host was very thoughtful with little presents too! You fell welcome as soon as you arrive.this is one of the best guesthouses we have ever had.

Bookshelf popular with whole family- Georgette Heyer, Alistair MacLean and Roald Dahl. Gardens look to be the work of decades. Cuddly but calm dog neighbors were added bonus. Gorge is gorgeous.
