Unfortunately we only stayed here one night on our way to Wellington as I would dearly have loved to stay longer in this little gem of a property. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, adding so many little extras which made it truly a wonderful place to stay. Situated in their garden, surrounded by nature, the property had a wonderfully comfy bed, great shower, good cooking facilities and lovely outside seating. We were offered a swim in the pool and use of the Bbq which unfortunately we didn't have time to try. I would totally recommend staying here and certainly would love to return

A wonderful experience to enjoy quiet NZ countryside. The location is perfectly nestled in the hills and provides an excellent launching point to see many features (national parks, river cafes, waterfalls) and so much more. It's also exceptionally peaceful for great relaxation and taking a pause. The spot and the hosts are absolutely the best!

The decor was modern and cosy inside. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our night's stay including some biscuits with our coffee and some breakfast items. Julie our host was very welcoming and helpful. The location was great too.

There is a private bathroom with bath in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Our hosts David & Sue were very friendly and helpful. We requested dinner for the evening which was a lovely home cooked meal. We had a great time that evening, enjoying their company. Breakfast was lovely. Must also mention Ash the dog who loves to walk with you.
