The additional sink and tap together with a microoven in the room itsef (outside the toilet & shower) make it practical and convenient for making our hot drinks and getting our water supply. 3. Individual AC in good working condition which we can control the temperature in the room! 4. Strong shower and quality shower gel and body lotion. 5. The design of the toilet allows me to put my toiletries and make up easily. 6. Room service - food available even early in the morning at 2 AM! Order is just at your finger tip via the hotel's tablet. 7. The hotel restaurant food was so delicious and reasonably price! 8. All reception Staff was courteous, reliable and helpful (especiallly Natasha) who helped booked local Tours and Taxi. The recommendation to take bus to Gondola and sea side at New Brighton were wonderful. The bus stop is just 2 to 3 minutes away from the hotel.

Situated in Kaikoura, 1.3 km from Kaikoura Beach, Austin Heights - Kaikoura features a garden and views of the garden. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. A very comfortable, well presented unit, in a great location but in a quiet spot, with great mountain views. Far better than an overpriced hotel. We were impressed and enjoyed our two night stay.
