I really enjoyed my stay at the Smaakvol Slochteren, I will certainly stay here again during my next visit to Groningen! Comfortable bed, nice room, excellent breakfast and I could even sit and relax in the garden. Ellen was so attentive and helpful in giving tips and suggestions, making the stay so nice! I stayed here for four nights and during one of the days they offered me to use one of the bicycles so I could explore the area by bike and enjoy the countryside of Groningen during a nice sunny day. Also the tip regarding a local garden center was excellent. Big thanks!

It was amazing! Best family weekend here. Pretty and quiet location. Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed?
