Yakaduru Yala runs on renewable energy sources, and features free WiFi, on-site parking and a barbecue facility. Staying at Yakaduru was one of the best ideas we had during the trip in Sri Lanka. The staff looked after us and took us on an amazing walk around the hotel. They have a wealth of knowledge about animals, they are true enthusiasts! Hotel clean, very well maintained. Food - adapted to European tastes ;-) very delicious ... and lots of it .... Safari expedition (in our case a full day) - was great. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to meet nature face to face and relax!

It is very excellent. Our driver is very good. We saw all kinds of animals including leopards. We went on a full day safari. We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch. After the safari, we got a taxi from them to go to Mirissa. Very reasonable prices. They always try to provide the best service.

I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

A recently renovated luxury tent set in Tissamaharama, Yala Wild Hut - Yala features a garden. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay at yala wild Beach huts. The owner and the team are lovely. The tents/huts are new and super comfy beds in a really quite unspoilt location. Very close to the entrance to yala national park. The food has been amazing with endless amounts of it too much food for us to eat you will never go hungry. We were offered tea and coffee and bottles of water all the time and when we went to yala and the temple tour we were given fruit, coffee, biscuits and chocolate milk for the kids. We opted to stay for 2 nights and we were glad we did as it gave us time to go on a second jeep trip to the temples and see more elephants outside the national park. Along with crocodiles and monkeys. Our driver was great and really enjoyed all the trips even going for a last minute beach trip and over the sand dunes. He went out of his way to try and find lepards for us. Roy our guide was incredible a great character who clearly loves his job and nature and his knowledge of sri lankan history is brilliant and very enjoyable to listen to. Along with morning nature walk around the camp We all agreed that this has been our favourite place in Sri Lanka on our trip and I would highly recommend a 2 night visit or longer if you have time. Going to sleep and Walking up to the sound of the birds an nature was amazing. The owner has great plans for the future of yala wild huts and its alread great and will only improve furter there is an obvious passion and love for the area and nature and to give guests an amazing experience Thanks again for an amazing experience we could not be happier and will recommend to anyone we know who is travelling to sri lanka

The accommodation offers full-day security, room service and currency exchange for guests. I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it.
