The staff warmly welcomed us. The crushed papaya welcome drink cooled us down from the scorching hot sun when we checked in. The chef prepared Sri Lankan crab as I had desired when I ordered lunch. They also checked with us on our breakfast preferences. The toilets and rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.

*New opening* We were one of the first guests in this amazing, cozy accommodation. The staff was super nice and could answer every question and solved every little issue professional. There are 7 cabins on the property, Breakfast is served in front of the cabin. The location is quiet and close to the beach and restaurants. Everything is brand new, clean and works fine. We extended our stay. If you want to stay somewhere in Trincomalee - stay here. Real 10/10.

A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.
