The location is very good. It takes about 7 minutes walking to the beach. The staff is very friendly. We booked a room with breakfast and ordered dinner separately. The meal was tasty. The room was amazing. Staff provided us with an excursion to Pigeon Island -- it was very nice.

Our four-night stay at Jey’s Place was absolutely perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Jistin and Prasanth, who went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. Jistin is an excellent cook who prepared delicious and refined traditional meals (lunches and dinners) using fresh, local ingredients — many of which came directly from their own garden. We also greatly enjoyed talking with him, and he even taught us how to make his delicious coconut pancakes. The garden is beautiful and perfectly maintained, and the rooms are cool, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Jey, the owner — a truly kind and welcoming man. We will definitely return to Jey’s Place on a future trip to Sri Lanka.

Excellent as I expected because I stayed there last year.So peaceful my days on the beach were tremendous, almost the whole beach to myself,only a few locals every now and then.Brenda makes the stay by providing anything and everything your heart desires.If you want a peaceful relaxing simple natural place to stay slightly outside of Trincomalee this is it. Lovely clean spacious room very close to a beautiful, quiet beach. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Little cabanas on the beach wereperfect for relaxing in the shade with a beautiful view. We only ate breakfast here but the food was great and delivered to our room. The only downside is that the beach has a lot of litter further up. They clean around the hotel, so the view is unspoilt, but a shame the other hotels don’t do the same and take more care of the beach and our planet.
