The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, with delicious breakfasts and extremely friendly staff. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a shot of local coconut arrack, fresh papaya juice, and a cold wet towel for refreshment — a lovely touch. Our room was spacious and even had a second exit to a terrace just a few meters from the stunning pool, where pool towels were always available. Every morning, after enjoying a fantastic serving of curd with honey and a fresh fruit platter, we were offered a choice between a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast or a Western-style breakfast — all beautifully prepared and delicious. Every day, we were provided with one liter of water per person and a fresh king coconut each. The staff checked daily if we wanted our room cleaned, fresh towels, extra toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner — amazing care for guests. The hotel also has a private gated parking area where we safely parked our tuk-tuk, and there’s even a professional massage chair available for everyone in the common area. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. Great service and wonderful location ! Breakfast was delicious !

The property is incredible — just around 1.5 km from Hiriketiya Beach. It’s in a safe and peaceful location. We stayed in the family apartment, which was very spacious and luxurious. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and super comfortable. It's perfect for everyone — families, couples, or friends. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful little villas located on a hill above Hiriketiya. Very close to the beach and many restaurants, however is peaceful and quiet at the same time. Comfortable bed, loved the open roof shower, especially with the light rain! Highly recommend.

We were warmly welcomed from the very first moment and really have nothing bad to say. The location is perfect, and in terms of value for money, there’s really no reason to complain. Such a unique beautiful calming location. The family who run the hideaway are all attentive, generous and go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable stay. I was able to swim in the river each day and eat delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. I had not planned to visit the rainforest or this area of Sri Lanka and I ended up pivoting to find some solace for my final three nights and I'm so glad I did. Thank you to the property owners for looking after me. I'd love to stay again when I return to Sri Lanka.
