Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. It was a magnificent experience not only because we saw so much nature and wild animals at a close range but because the staff were the best. Nishantha took us to see a local woman who was so poor yet she used whatever means she had to look after 22 orphaned puppies whose mother had been killed. The level of poverty was astounding. The staff help her to survive. Without them there would be certain death. If you can spare some money please give it to him and he will pass it on. A truly humbling and touching experience that jolts you to the core. Special mention to our mates at Yala who made our stay so memorable Sajith, Kasun, Nishantha and our safari driver Amile. Thanks guys, you are the best!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 From the moment we arrived, I knew this place was special. The design of the cabanas is thoughtful and beautiful, the gardens lush and calming. Everything looked brand new, clean, well-maintained. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms excellent, plenty of space to breathe and unwind. The pool—two of them!—were exactly what I needed for a peaceful swim and to cool off. Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, tasty, with enough variety that every morning felt like a treat. Location is perfect: tucked away enough for quiet and relaxation, but close enough to Rekawa Beach for beautiful walks and turtle watching . But what really made the stay special was Madura. Thoughtful, hospitable, always on point. Couldn't ask for a better host. He made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in just at the right times, gave helpful suggestions for things to do, Really appreciated his warmth. If you’re looking for a serene, well-designed escape, with excellent food, cleanliness, and superb hospitality — this is it. Don’t worry about the service, they’ve got it totally covered. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

An exceptional family stay, in December 2024, this was a newly built facility. The family run hotel had a homely atmosphere, everyone was super friendly and polite. The owner has put a lot of thought into the layout and details of the whole hotel. The room are expansive, very comfortable and immaculately clean. The private balconies offer great views over the picturesque rice fields and beyond to the lake. The gardens are teaming with birds. The pool is well maintained, and very welcome after a long journey. The food was super fresh and very tasty, home cooked in a very clean open air kitchen. The owner arranged our Yala safari. We had a very enjoyable stay, in hide sight we should have stayed longer.
