I was there with a colleague, and we had a very busy schedule during the days. Coming back to Deerpark in the evenings was a balm! The lush garden, the friendly hellos from everyone on the staff, the quiet and the lovely house all contributed to making me feel relaxed and safe. Our every need was catered for by the handful of staff, from remembering our breakfast preferences to helping with the booking of transport, and being able to order a variety of food from the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet caring. The place is small, and to me that is infinetely preferable to chain luxury hotels, and at a fraction of the price, too. I will be sure to stay there again if I come to Nairobi.
