The location is ideal, in downtown Aomori. The staff is attentive and answered my questions kindly. If I have the opportunity to return to Aomori, I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

The kitchen and laundry machine/dryer were also very useful. The best part of our stay were the owners, as they are incredibly friendly and helpful! They were especially kind to help me when I got a bit sick, bringing a humidifier to our room and preparing a healthy dinner and ginger-based drink for me, as well as providing some medicition for my sore throat. You can tell that the owners really care about their guests and make sure to make all of them feel at home.

The rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. They had a cancellation for a suite the night we got there so they gave us an upgrade free of charge. I got a delicious, special vegan breakfast (aswell as a regular breakfast for my boyfriend) served to our doorstep in the morning. The hotel is a quick 10min taxi away from the Hirosaki park & castle. The staff and owner were extremely kind to us, we would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Everything was perfect, the room is simple but very nice, the shower area clean and spacious, you can have access to a kitchen and common room space. The staff was really nice, even helped me call my next accommodation to solve a problem, and the café seemed lovely. I would have stayed another night in Matsushima for the hostel. It's also very close to the station and I walked easily to the marina bay and the temple.
