This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

I'm so glad we were able to stay here. There are different supermarkets and restaurants around. We were able to cook everyday. The beach is less than 5min from the house, same for the train station, super close to the accommodation. The experience of sleeping in the tatami was great and super comfortable. The bathroom is also a hot spring and it is super cool and relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

It was such a nice and relaxing place to be. I stayed there during tsunami warning so I spent almost my whole two days there. The Onsen near the guesthouse is marvellous, and we did a sauna session at one evening as well. We've had dinner together and on the first evening he offered us sashimi, because he's been out fishing and caught a nice one. Loved to practise my japanese skills - thank you for everything!

Guests can enjoy garden views. The hotel is beautiful. Separate little houses/apartments set in a Japanese garden, private onsen bath, the room was large and so comfortable. The dinner was so good, and they could accommodate me on the spot when they served a soup i couldn’t eat. The staff were absolutely amazing! And we booked the ikebana introduction, which was a great experience!
