Cleanest hotel I have ever seen, extremely polite staff, delicious breakfast.

Service was great - reception helped us to make reservations for day trips, and arrange for our luggage to be sent to the next hotel. The afternoon and late night snacks were a welcome treat as well. The rooms were clean and well designed. The theme was a nice touch - with Bach music being played, musical motifs all around the hotel decor, and the scents in the lobby. Public baths on the top floor were clean and good.

It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.
