The room had plenty of space to relax, and the bed was cozy — I slept like a baby. I was especially impressed by how clean and modern everything felt. You could tell they really care about maintaining the place. Having a kitchen was a huge bonus — it was nice to have breakfast in the room instead of eating out. We noticed a washing machine and vacuum too, which would be super handy for a longer stay. And as someone sensitive to smoke, I really appreciated that the entire property was non-smoking. We felt really comfortable the whole time. I'd definitely stay here again!

If you want to experience staying at a traditional Japanese house in the countryside, this is the perfect place. It is suitable for large groups with both beds and futons available for sleeping in multiple separate rooms. Everything was clean and a bunch of snacks and drinks were prepared for us, making us feel welcomed. We had no trouble parking a regular-sized Japanese cat at the designated parking spot in front of the house. As a typical traditional house, it is poorly insulated and may take a while to warm up on cold days but there is AC in several rooms and other types of room heaters are available as well. The bathtub is amazing and even supports reheating the water so that it can easily be used by several people consecutively. For exploring the surrounding area, a car is highly recommended.

Highly recommend to stay here!!Mr Hasegawa is very kind and attentive to us. he provided us the most comfortable stay, he brought us fresh towels, and refilled the fuel for the heaters. the tatami beds are warm during our stay. he is very kind to allow us for a late check out because my husband was not feeling well on that day. I'm sorry for didn't get to take the house tour photo, cause on the night we checked in, we were too tired after a long journey drive.. but all the pictures shown on the booking page are the same. we definitely will stay here again for our future trip to Japan.

The staff was really nice and kind, they even brought me to a local hotspring by car, otherwise it would have been an hour+ walk up a mountain, they showed me some cultural places around the area. They really invested time and effort into there guests :)
