The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was really comfortable, clean, organized, with good space, the kitchen was very clean as well and with everything needed if you need to cook. Overall a really good experience. It is close to the Arakuyama Sengen Park, 20 min walk. You can see the Fuji from the street. It is also close to restaurants and convenience stores. I would definitely come back.

My stay at Yanafu was truly delightful. The Japanese house, with its spacious 120 m², is very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a natural and sustainable style. Bright, full of light, and featuring restored wood details, it also has a vintage HiFi stereo system that sounds absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Everything was sparkling clean and felt brand new. The location is perfect — just about an hour from the door to the 6th Station by car and bus, making it super convenient for a Mount Fuji visit. It was even better than in the photos! The beds were firm yet incredibly comfortable, and I slept so well. The only tiny things I would have loved are a curtain for the front door to soften the morning light and some cutlery — but honestly, that’s just nitpicking. I would book this place again in a heartbeat!
