Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Some offer views of the Cathedral.

The rooms have a private marble bathroom, are elegantly furnished, and are decorated in warm colours. There is free Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel is very well updated looking at the old historic outside. Rooms were so large and well appointed. Best breakfast we had in Italy. Only a minute walk from the main Piazza and few minutes from many restaurants and shopping.

Hotel La Terrazza RESTAURANT & SPA boasts a beautiful view of a green Umbrian valley, which looks even more enchanting as the sun rises in the morning. It has the best pool on our travels to date. They let us check in really early. The room had an amazing view over the Umbria Valley. On the morning we left they let us start our breakfast 30 minutes early.

It boasts stunning views from all sides whilst still offering a 15minute walk into town through their private field. The rooms and entire home is finished to an incredibly high standard and the pool was a real highlight. Most importantly our host Giorgia really made our stay, she was incredibly friendly and helpful offering great suggestions for our trip and even dropped us at the train station - she really went above and beyond in everyway. Il Sogno Umbro is one of our favourites trips yet and we can't wait to return again in the future.
