Signora Loredana was exceptionally kind and helpful, providing great recommendations for bars and restaurants as well as daily updates on the best part of the island to visit. We absolutely loved everything from beginning to end. We were offered complimentary pick up from the port to beach which was about a 10 min drive. The location itself was top notch being on the best beach on the island (there are several but most rocky, with cala Azzura and Lido Burrone being the exceptions from what we've seen. I recommend renting a bike and riding around the island to explore). The room was just the right size with a comfortable big bed, TV and a well stocked bathroom. I was very pleased to see complimentary suncream as well as hair conditioner. There's also a little terrace facing the beach with a table where we enjoyed our evenings drinking Sicilian wine and playing cards (though I wish the gate was a bit lower so we could see more of the beach). I'd like to give a shout out to Consuelo who gave us a super warm welcome and later whatsapped me recommendations on places to eat in the town centre as well as daily weather and wind conditions. It was a lovely personal touch. Stabilimento Lido Burrone has been the absolute highlight of our trip and the island is an actual paradise ! Thank you so much for everything.
