I traveled alone to Inishmor and stayed a week with Geraldine and Thomas — and I cannot think of better and kinder hosts. Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny is a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.
