Think less “karaoke horror” and more “why aren’t they famous yet?” A short walk takes you to shops and local eats, and there’s a chill little beach right opposite Tataring for your morning cool-off or evening cooldown. Perfect if you’re into either deep sleeps or deep bass. Choose wisely when booking—or just bring your dancing shoes and call it balance. Shoutout to caretaker Siska, a sweet, smiley lady who checked us in with warmth and a no-fuss attitude. She also shared great tips on where to eat and what to do, local style. We had a wonderful stay at Maruba Inn. This place stole our hearts because of the family running it and the warm, welcoming vibe. We stayed for seven nights and felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. They took great care of us: arranging our tours, serving some of the most delicious food on the island, and always greeting us with a warm smile. The vibe among the people staying here was also amazing; we left with more than six new friends. It was such a memorable experience that we left almost in tears. The facilities are also great. Internet is super fast that I could do home office and the views are breathtaking. Thank you for all your help and warmth. Maruba Inn will always stay in our hearts.
