My husband and I were at kardia for 4 days on our honeymoon. Kardia is in a quieter part of the island where you can see incredible sunsets with live music every day. When we arrived we went straight to a welcome drink and immediately noticed the friendliness of the entire staff. We booked breakfast included and it was great, there was a lot of choice and we liked everything we ordered. We ate at the restaurant 3 times and it was equally great. There are options for all tastes, including vegetarian options. We stayed in a suite with pool access, wonderful! Waking up and being able to take a dip in water with a comfortable temperature was amazing. Our room and bathroom were always clean. We recommend it and hope to do it again one day!

Truly a remarkable place and the best stay we’ve had on this trip through Bali and this little bit of Lombok. The facilities were lovely but not overly fussy. The staff were friendly and attentive with being intrusive. The room had lots of natural light and good translucent curtains that allowed in the sunshine without putting us on display. The location was an about 50 meters from the main road with stores and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the harbor where we arrived and also booked our snorkeling trip. From there it was a 5 to 10 minutes clockwise around the island for the best sunset beachfront drinks and dining or 5 to 10 minutes counter clockwise for yoga, more restaurants overlooking Lombok (I assume you might also see a sunrise there you were a sunrise kind of person) and some great snorkeling from the beach. We spent a week there on our month-long vacation and, while that’s longer than you need to see Gili Air, I don’t regret a day.
